Features
Special variation of a sealing set for valves at high temperatures.
Rotatherm- high precision seals deliver optimal sealability, low diffusion and exceptional service life.
Complemental to the very low wearing of the sealing faces this high temperature and high pressure sealing set is able to adjust as well gaps of the valve components. A special version (graphite rings with a thin, elastic stainless steel cap to bridge large gaps and reduce oxidation) is available for applications above 550 °C.
Advantages
This sealing set is solely made of Rotatherm-rings which are manufacured out of high purity graphite foils (≥ 99,8%). The main sealing rings are precompressed to a marginal lower density to achieve a good adaptability. The top and bottom chamber ring are produced with a higher density and have an additional stainless steel cap (1.4571).

Notes
We have no data which indicates that the stainless steel caps on the top and bottom headers cause damage to the spindle. Internal tests with a variety of spindle materials confirm these findings.
